Liliya Yefimov has joined WSU Vancouver as a financial aid counselor. She comes to WSU Vancouver with more than four years of financial aid experience from both a public four-year and a community college in California. Liliya is new to the Pacific Northwest. She and her husband moved here from North Carolina in December.
The Diversity Council invites internal applications for two Diversity Faculty Fellowships. These fellowships begin Aug. 15, 2013 and conclude May 15, 2014. Expectations include conceiving, developing and delivering a project designed to showcase, develop or further advance diversity on campus.

Effective July 1, if your department is hosting 10 or fewer guests at an event, guest parking passes should be purchased through Parking Services at your department’s discretion and cost. You may purchase online through Parking Services and the Good Host Program/Guest & Event Parking Request Form. Previously requests for small numbers of guests were sometimes processed through the Office of the Chancellor.

The main café in the Dengerink Administration building will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning today through July 26. The café will take its annual summer break July 29 – Aug. 14.
Breakfast Fridays begin this week with strawberry pancakes and sausage. The café will serve a different breakfast special each week in the month of May.
Special thanks to Laurel Rea-Bullion, information systems manager, for preparing a report on behalf of the Vancouver Advisors zzusis Conversion Committee. The report outlined how zzusis can serve WSU Vancouver students and the campus community more effectively. It has been delivered to the WSU Enterprise Systems Groups with hopes of sparking changes to zzusis that will make it more user-friendly.
