Wellbeing Watch - Nutrition Tip
“Food for thought” is an article that appeared in The Economist recently. It says you can “eat your way to a better brain.” The article cites a study by Fernando Gomez-Pinilla, a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles on how changing your eating habits can improve cognitive skills and counteract the effects of aging and the importance these diet changes can have on children. Who doesn’t want to be smarter and look younger? The article talks about the value of Omega-3’s in the diet and using fewer saturated fats. It even offers a Brain Food menu. Make friends with a salmon and read it for yourself!
